Dish Magazine for iPad launched this week, adding to a stable of stellar Oomph apps that we have seen coming out of New Zealand in the last few months.
From the get go the app is well thought out with special attention to detail and layout. A great example is the simple but effective help page, which makes use of video to show the user how to navigate through the app.
The content features mouth-watering visuals brought to live with cleverly executed interactivity like cooking mode and recipe drink suggestions. There is also extra video content as well as subtle but effective animations to guide the user through a foodie heaven.
The team at Dish has also set a new benchmark in designing all their advertising for iPad with the majority of the creative making use of interactivity to engage users with the message.
