Leica teamed with Oomph Creative Technologist Tony Redhead to create a killer kiosk iPad app at the PMA 2013 Convention being held in Melbourne this week. The app is powered using the Oomph Digital Publishing platform allowing Tony to use the same range of features that are used to power rich media iPad magazines.
Leica also used the new Kiosk Mode within iOS that allows apps to be locked down for use within retail and instore environments.
Tony integrated TypeForm to the app allowing people to register their interest through the app – a virtual trade show sales person. Tony told us ‘ The client made some last minute changes to the form and was blown away when I simply went to the TypeForm page and typed in the new changes and seconds later it loaded into the app.”
