Oomph Webinar 26th June – Richer Interactivity using Action Hotspots

Oomph Webinar 26th June 2012

We’d like to announce our upcoming Oomph Webinar – Richer Interactivity using Action Hotspots, next Tuesday 26th June 12-1pm.

What you will learn:

  1. How to create richer, more engaging apps
  2. Understand what elements within Oomph can be controlled by Action Hotspots
  3. See how I map out my interactions prior to building
  4. Learn how Slideshows, Google Maps, Video and Text can be integrated in an Action Hotspot

Summary

Action Hotspots a unique feature in Oomph, are special hotspots that can be used to control other page objects such as cardflips, videos and page layers. Using Action Hotspots as buttons, we can trigger actions within the page to show or hide information without having to swipe to move around. Action Hotspots allow you to create richer interactivity within your App, producing “multimedia” type interactions and providing alternative methods of presenting information.
During the webinar, Tony Redhead our Oomph Creative Technologist, will be showcasing Action Hotspots he used in a recently published App he created called “Experience the Highs” for the Armidale, Guyra, Uralla and Walcha district council. This app is jam packed full of multiple Action Hotspots including slideshows, panorama photography, Google maps and video.  The App can be downloaded from http://itunes.apple.com/au/app/experience-the-highs/id527515344?mt=8
