Encore Magazine, the sister publication to the well known Mumbrella website, is Australia’s leading trade publication for the media and entertainment industry and now in partnership with Oomph it can be downloaded from the App Store.

Targeting the media, marketing and entertainment industry, we decided this was an excellent magazine to support to showcase the iPda publishing opportunities including rich interactive advertising.

Focal Attractions website Mumbrella has been a leading light in Australia’s marketing, media and advertising industry including being named as Australia’s website of the year at the Publishers Australia Excellence Awards in 2011. Encore magazine, Mumbrella’s sister title, has today launched an iPad edition.

Encore Magazine iPad Edition Now Available on the App StoreSYDNEY, Australia – 5 April, 2012 – Encore Magazine, Australia’s leading trade publication for the media and entertainment industry, is happy to announce its iPad edition is now available via Newsstand on the App Store.The iPad edition of Encore, produced by Focal Attractions, is more than just a digital replica of the printed version of the magazine. Encore’s managing editor Brooke Hemphill says the iPad edition contains additional content not included in the print edition plus a raft of interactive features designed to showcase creative content production. “There could be no better platform to deliver information about the media, marketing and entertainment industries then iPad and we have created an enhanced version of the magazine that truly showcases the content our industry is producing,” says Hemphill.The iPad edition comes after a complete re-launch of the 30-year-old magazine in November 2011 that saw a broadening of the publication’s focus to cover the extended media landscape including film, TV, radio, print and digital with particular focus on the business of content production and storytelling.

The first issue of the Encore iPad edition includes a profile of media legend Derryn Hinch, a look at the education institutions producing graduates for the advertising, media, screen and digital industries, features on the process of casting a reality series, producing magazines for iPad and the Western Australia media and entertainment world.

Encore is published using the Oomph digital platform.

The Encore App is available for free from the App Store on iPad or at www.itunes.com/appstore. A six-month subscription is available for AUD$19.99 via In-App Purchase. Readers will have a new issue delivered to their Newsstand each month featuring the latest cover art. Single issues are also available for AUD$4.49 through In-App Purchase.
